Circle’s salaries are regularly benchmarked internally and externally with the NHS and other private healthcare providers so as to ensure they remain competitive. Beyond this, there are opportunities for salary advancement through promotions and lateral movement across the organisation.
Personal Pension Plan
It’s never too early to start thinking about your future. Circle offers you the opportunity to contribute to a workplace pension scheme with AEGON.
Offering up to 4% matched contributions, we regard our pension scheme as an important part of our overall employee benefits package so we have appointed a pension and benefit advisor, Jelf Employee Benefits, to support you in managing your Pension Plan with AEGON.
If you are a new eligible employee, you don’t have to do anything to join as you will be automatically enrolled in the scheme after two complete months of employment.
We recognise that staff development is critical to the delivery of our strategy, vision and value. Training and development requirements are identified as part of the on-going line management process and the annual performance review process. We arrange internal training sessions and, where appropriate, we provide financial support for participation in external courses, further education and conferences to enhance our Partners’ performance and potential in their work and career.
What about saving money while doing more of the things you love? Circle has partnered with Perkbox to offer all Partners free access to an exclusive perks

any queries on the benefits available and ways to maximise savings.
Circle embraces family friendly practices and, after a qualifying period, you can enjoy 13 weeks’ full pay when you take maternity leave or 2 weeks’ full pay for your paternity leave.
Bike to Work Scheme
Cycling to work is good for you, for the environment and also your wallet. If you wish to travel to work by bicycle, Bike 2 Work Scheme gives you the opportunity to save on the cost of Bicycles and/or Equipment up to the value of £1000. The Company will advance the payment for you, and the cost is spread over monthly interest-free payments. In addition, as the scheme is run on a salary sacrifice basis, you pay less tax and national insurance on the value of each deduction.
Site specific perks
Circle takes an active interest in the general health, safety and welfare of employees with the aim of providing a working environment conducive to the well-being of all staff. Free tea, coffee and fresh fruit are provided at our sites. Free initiatives take place each month at all Circle sites, including yoga, fitness classes, massage sessions, competitions and running clubs.
Sick Pay & Income Protection Insurance
We value the health and well-being of our Partners and recognise that, unfortunately, illness can be an inevitable event from time to time. Circle offers an occupational sick pay scheme beyond statutory requirements. Upon completion of probation, we currently pay sick pay for the first ten days of sickness in any rolling twelve months. We also have a discretionary sick pay policy for exceptional circumstances, to support you not only when you have short-term illness but also when serious long-term conditions prevent you from working. For more information, please refer to our Attendance Management policy.
In addition, if you can't work for an extended period of time (more than 13 consecutive weeks) due to long-term illness or injury you will be covered by income protection insurance to help you with your bills or other personal costs. Our Group Income Protection (GIP) insurance scheme is provided by MetLife and is designed to provide you with a continuing income in the event of you suffering long-term ill health that prevents you from carrying out your normal occupation. Under the terms of the cover, you will continue to receive 50% of your basic salary while you are deemed sick, for up to 2 years. If you become well enough to return to work either on a part-time basis or in a less well paid occupation then you may be entitled to a partial benefit, or if you are already receiving benefit, this may continue but at a reduced rate. Payments under the scheme will be taxed as income.
You will be covered by a “death in service” benefit equivalent to three times your basic annual salary. The scheme is provided by MetLife. Cover commences upon your joining Circle and ceases on your sixty-fifth birthday or upon leaving our employment, if earlier. This benefit will normally be paid free of Inheritance Tax to your nominated beneficiaries.
Season Ticket Loan
If you travel to and from work on public transport, Circle offers you an interest free loan for the purchase of annual season rail tickets and zone cards. Purchasing these tickets annually allows you to make considerable savings on your travel costs. You pay the loan back over 12 months, direct from your monthly pay.
“Refer a Friend” Scheme
Do you know anyone who has the relevant skills to work for Circle? If you refer a friend to work for Circle in an eligible role you will be rewarded with a referral bonus. You will normally receive half bonus payment upon the recruit’s appointment and the remaining after they have completed their probation.
Referrals must be for an existing advertised vacancy, either permanent or fixed (at least 12 months). The scheme does not apply to anyone directly involved in the recruitment process for the position (e.g. HR, direct line manager, department leads etc.)
Wellbeing Hub & Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Partners and their immediate family members have access to a Wellbeing Hub provided by MetLife in partnership with Health Assured. The service aims to make it easy for you to take control of the three core aspects of your wellbeing: physical, mental and financial.
Initial 27 day holiday entitlement
Circle provides Partners with a competitive holiday entitlement of 27 days holiday per year (prorated for part time employees), in addition to statutory public holidays. As a Partner at Circle, you will receive an extra holiday day after completing 3, 5 and 10 years’ service, respectively. You will receive your extra days on the anniversary of the applicable service year.
